INDICATIONS FOR USE:
• To maintain a moist wound environment and protect granulating wounds with little or no drainage.
• To soften yellow slough or fibrin.
• Normlgel is appropriate for use on dry granulating wounds to promote a moist wound environment or on dry sloughy wounds.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Gently cleanse the wound and peri-wound area; pat dry.
2. Open tube by twisting cap counter-clockwise to release inner ring, then clockwise to remove cap. Invert tube to allow inner ring to fall away; reapply cap to puncture sterile seal.
3. Apply a thin coating of Normlgel over the wound surface. Normlgel can be used with wound packing material if required.
4. Cover with Alldress®.
5. Change every 48 to 72 hours or as indicated by existing protocol.
6. Normgel should be discontinued if wound drainage increases.
