ACTICOAT Absorbent is a silver-coated antimicrobial absorbent dressing indicated for use on moderately to heavily exudating partial and full-thickness wounds including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, donor and recipient graft sites, first and second degree burns and cavity wounds. ACTICOAT Absorbent dressings may be used over debrided and partial thickness wounds.
ACTICOAT Absorbent may be used on infected wounds. Where the product is used on infected wounds the infection should be inspected and treated as per local clinical protocol.
